Renewed Confidence for Female Patient!

Hair transplantation is a procedure more commonly performed on male patients worldwide.
However, these days, a significant number of female patients also opt for hair transplantation
surgery. Most of these patients either have female pattern baldness, which affects the middle
portion of the scalp, including the parting area, or a receding hairline similar to that of males. These
conditions can be congenital and, in some cases, may worsen with age.

This case involves a young patient who had a broad forehead, which was impacting her ability to
style her hair and engage in social activities. This issue was significantly affecting her quality of life.

With a good donor area available, both FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit
Extraction) were viable options for her. The patient was informed about the advantages and
disadvantages of both procedures, and she chose FUE. In her case, we performed DSFT (Direct
Stimulated Follicular Transplant), which represents the most advanced version of the FUE technique.

The surgery was conducted without shaving her head. She could easily cover the front of her head
with her existing hair right from the first day after surgery, and the donor area remained completely
concealed and not visible at all. There is a common misconception that completely shaving the head
is a requirement before undergoing hair restoration surgery; however, hair transplant surgery can be
performed without the need for a full shave.

In the first few months, as the shedding phase comes to an end, you'll start noticing the initial
indications of growth. By the 5-month point after the surgery, a remarkable and consistent growth
of hair is evident in the post-op picture. While the transplanted hair will gradually catch up in length
and seamlessly integrate with your existing hair, it's important to remember that this process takes
